Moped Medic Reviews: Moped and Scooter Review from longtime customer

I bought a Moped from Moped Medic in 2009, when they were in a warehouse in Charleston. It still runs, and has over 41,000 miles on it. I have rebuilt the top end once, and kept it maintained, but that's it. I still ride it, and it's going strong. If you want a good Moped that will last a long time, get one from Moped Medic.

Finally, a store where a woman can buy a moped without feeling talked down to or taken advantage of. Thank you, Moped Medic.

Moped Medic Reviews: Moped Medic Review from Unhappy Customer at other dealers.

The Service is exceptional. I've had my moped at three other shops, including the one just up the road, and these are the first guys who really made it run right. I haven't been late to work once since I got it back. I would highly recommend them, and this is definitely where I will buy my next moped.

Moped Medic Reviews: Review about Moped Medic from Scooter and Moped Expert

In July, I bought a Keeway Hurricane moped from Moped Medic. I'm told that I was the first to own one in the Charleston Area. It has been one the best buying experiences of my life! Beyond the fact that the Hurricane is a high-quality, well manufactured moped that performs as well as it looks, my experience with the crew at Moped Medic has been very gratifying. I've had some very bad past experiences with three other moped dealers in Charleston, so I'm able to make a meaningful comparison. Firstly, the management are true professionals with more than 60 years of motorcycle/moped experience between them, and it shows. They spent the time to give me the knowledge I needed to make the right decision. Secondly, they gave me a fair trade-in on my previous moped. Thirdly, I've already had the first check-up service performed and it was a pleasant experience, as well. Given the recent economic downturn and increases in the cost of operating cars, the popularity of mopeds and scooters is on the rise. Unfortunately, unscrupulous business people tend to flock to a growing market and practice buyer-beware tactics. And, I certainly was the victim of some of those pirates. Fortunately, however, Moped Medic has restored my faith that there are responsible professionals in this industry. Sincerely, George Lutz, Yonges Island, SC

Moped Medic Reviews: Ten Star Review from long distance commuter

These guys deserve ten stars. They fixed the Peace of Crap I bought at another dealer and gave me a good deal on one of the Solana mopeds after I sold the Peace of Crap. It has a better motor than the one in the other cheap mopeds and a 1 year warranty instead of one month. I have driven it from Folly Beach to Goose Creek to work with only one problem of a horn switch that needed to be replaced, and they fixed that for free while I waited on my day off. One thing bad though, they won't take your moped in trade if they think it junk. So I had to sell my own old moped. Goodbye Peace of Crap from K and T.

Moped Medic Reviews: Review about Moped Medic alarm lock

These people are the most professional I have encountered while shopping for a moped. The warranty was the best one, and everyone I asked told me that this is where to buy a Moped. They were right. I love my new Moped and get a lot of compliments. I'm glad I bought the lock and alarm they sell because it already went off once when someone was trying to steal my moped downtown.

Moped Medic Reviews, Review about Moped, Warranty and Customer Service

We decided to get my son a Moped for his birthday. We live in Summerville, and hoped to find something local, but didn't find anything he liked for less than $2500. We took him out to West Ashley, and went to Lowcountry Scooter and Moped Medic. We decided to go with Moped Medic because they feel like the real deal. You can tell right away that they are different than any other shop, and not just because the mechanic was making wheelies on a moped in the parking lot :-) They have a real passion for what they do, and the salesperson came right out and said their mopeds are more expensive. Instead of trying to convince me their mopeds were cheaper than anywhere else, he focused on reliability and quality, and explained the differences between their different brands and models, and other brands we had looked at. Not the best sales pitch, but the moped they let my son learn to ride on has more than 25000 miles on it, and that's something we didn't see anywhere else. My son rode some different ones and picked one out, but I like to compare prices before I make a big purchase, so we went to Lowcountry scooter, which is about a block away. By going to Moped Medic first, we had a good idea of what to look for, and the salesperson at Lowcountry Scooter couldn't substantiate anything he said about his product, nor the derogatory things he said about the ones at Moped Medic. When you see and sit on their mopeds after seeing the ones at Moped Medic, the quality difference is obvious. My son said they felt like toys. It's easier to believe in a company's product if you see it for yourself. While we were there the second time, the owner arrived on her moped, and she really does ride from Mount Pleasant. I felt very comfortable knowing that what they say is what they do and they aren't just saying what I want to hear to get me to buy their product. They are very honest, and you can tell they believe in what they are selling. When we mentioned going to Lowcountry Scooter, all the salesperson said was not to buy anything without riding it first. I'm in sales and I know it takes a lot of confidence in your product to tell potential customers it's ok to check out the competition instead of trying to hard sell them into buying. If we didn't go to Moped Medic, I wouldn't know that the difference between a moped at most of the other shops with a 30 day warranty that only replaces parts and one from Moped Medic with a two year full coverage warranty is just $200. I am sure we made the best decision we could and got the best moped out there for the money. My son loves it.
